The Collection
Assembled by the American industrialist Daniel Terra, the collection is now under the aegis of the Terra Foundation for American Art.
The collection spans the colonial era through 1945 and features over 700 works by artists such as George Bellows, Mary Cassatt, John Singleton Copley, Stuart Davis, Robert Henri, Winslow Homer, Edward Hopper, Maurice Prendergast or James McNeill Whistler.
Fifty works among the greatest works of the collection are today on loan to the Art Institute of Chicago.
The collection also includes a large selection of works produced in Giverny.
A database of the collection is available in English on the Terra Foundation for American Art website.
