The Museum

In the heart of Giverny and next door to Claude Monet’s house and gardens, the Musée d'Art Américain invites you to discover American art from 1750 to nowadays. The impressionist period is largely represented and new exhibitions are renewed each year.


Fees

The entrance ticket allows free access to the exhibitions and to the orientation space in the museum’s lower level, which retraces the history of the village of Giverny. This space has become a must of any visit to Giverny.

The group fee applies to a group of 20 people. For smaller groups, please contact us.

To pursue and enrich your visit, several options are possible (in French and English):

• A guided tour
• An audioguide
• A conference in the auditorium, ideal for a large group.
  Discover the history of Giverny presented by museum staff.
• A historical tour of the museum’s gardens and of private gardens which inspired
  impressionist painters contemporary of Claude Monet.

The Terra Café welcomes groups for breakfast, lunch or for an afternoon break.
